Kendra Hughes

Guest Choreographer

As a regular instructor at Arcade Dance Arts for 3 years, Miss Kendra now continues to work with dancers at Arcade Dance Arts as a guest instructor and choreographer.

Kendra Hughes started dance at a young age and found her passion in life. Trained in Modern dance, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Jazz she was able to continue with her passion at George Brown College in their Dance Performance Foundations. Since graduating George Brown College, Kendra has performed across Canada, also throughout the world including India, the Middle East and the United States.

Kendra has been a member of many dance companies around Toronto including; Toronto Aerial Dance Project, Grace ‘N’ Style and Black Magic to name a few. She has also been a guest choreographer for the Toronto Hot Rock Dance Team as well as a performer and choreographer with the Hamilton Modern Dance Company under the direction of Dave Wilson. She also has created two full length shows for the Toronto Fringe Festival with her dance performance company Kinetic Elements. Her choreography has been called powerful, electric and dynamic.

Kendra is a fully certified teacher in Modern and Urban dance through the Performing Arts Educators of Canada (PAEC). Also, she is a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance.
